OK, I admit it...it looks like one of those "Wish you were here" postcards, but hey, I couldn't find any photo stock from anyone who'd been to Spira lately. Anyway, there's a certain charm to it this way.

So this is one of the Hypello race from Final Fantasy X/X-2...I think when I had originally made it I had that wacky little shoopuf handler in mind. Overall, as a simpler piece, I think he turned out pretty well, apart from a qualm or two.

The background is a DA free stock as usual, this time from: :iconanemya-stock:...here's the link to the original shot, which I only cropped and blurred for the distance effect: [link]

Yep, there was one who "drove" the shoopuf (those big animals that looked sorta like a brontosaurus, but with a long, curly schnoz) between islands in FFX.

Shoopuf Waiting!! Awesome man! These guys were amazing in both games. Heck, if they'd made Tobli one of these guys, even he'd have been cool!

I liked how they often seemed to speak statements as questions, and questions as statements.

Ah! That's the other line of the handler's that cracked me up. But yeah, I thought they had a fun design, and he was pretty fun to do. I wish Tobli had a bit better of a design, 'cause he was a wacky little guy who I'd otherwise probably have done a sculpt of by now.
